An An Lao opened its first restaurant in Baytong, the most southern part of Thailand, in 1980. Baytong is where the Chinese from various parts of China migrated and call this town their home. This formed the mixture of Chinese culture, the richness of Baytong food ingredients, and the way local Baytong cook and resulted in unique Baytong cuisine. An An Lao is the only restaurant in Bangkok to carry on this unique cooking tradition and serve you local dishes together with Chinese, Thai, and Seafood dishes for more than 45 years.
1980
The beginning of deliciousness—The year the first An An Lao restaurant was established in Betong, Yala Province.
1986
Expanding the deliciousness by opening a branch in Muang District, Yala Province.
1987
The first branch in Bangkok was opened at Soi Thonglor, bringing the legendary Betong Chicken menu to Bangkok for locals to enjoy. It became one of the first restaurants in Thonglor Soi.
1997
Introducing the legendary crispy Peking duck, a timeless favorite dish, offered at an unbeatable price.
2012
Expanding the deliciousness and renovating the restaurant to accommodate more customers comfortably at A Square, Sukhumvit Soi.
